Shore Riders ATV Club located in the South Shore of Nova Scotia is a community orientated club which works deligently on their local trails and trails in surrounding communities.
The club promotes safety training for ATV'ers of all ages and encourages responsible riding practices portraying ATVs as a legitimate and responsible form of recreation. We also encourage parental supervision throughout the youth riding experience, showing respect for the environment and keeping public lands open for multi-use recreation. Shore Riders has over 8,500 acres (34 km) of land use agreements signed. This doesn't include the thousands of acres of crown land that is connected to their trails. They plan on developing one of the largest trail networks in Nova Scotia. The club works very hard to maintain bridges, bush cutting, repairing washouts and constantly upgrading the beautiful wood trailsfor everyone to enjoy. Shore Riders are a very strong group that enjoy fun runs, socializing and hosting our yearly FISH AND CHIP RALLY annually held at the end of January. This fundraiser helps maintain the clubs financial commitments and trail maintenance. The club is also dedicated to families in the community who are in need of support. |
